Baltimore Comic-Con is getting a dash of magic when the show returns on September 8-10, 2023. Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis has joined the media guest list for the show, which will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center.
Lewis starred in the eight-film Harry Potter franchise as Neville Longbottom, the awkward teen wizard who faced Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters alongside Harry, Hermione, and Ron. Since the film series wrapped in 2011, Lewis has starred in movies like Wasteland and Me Before You, as well as shows like Bluestone 42, The Syndicate, Ripper Street, and Happy Valley. He has also performed on stage in Our Boys at the West End and Agatha Christie’s Verdict at the Theatre Royal.
“Matthew Lewis is most assuredly a fan favorite,” Baltimore Comic-Con show promoter Marc Nathan said. “The character of Neville Longbottom from the Harry Potter movies (and books!) is such a fantastic underdog who really evolves by the end of the saga. People love him, people love Matthew, and fans aren’t going to want to miss his appearance at this year’s event!”
