Ms. Marvel #19
Marvel; $2.99
Kamala Khan has gone from a clumsy teenager with uncontrollable powers to the true epitome of what Ms. Marvel should be, and this issue completely solidifies that notion. With the world coming apart around her, Kamala is able to make amends with her family members, her friends, and – perhaps most importantly – finally hash things out with Bruno.
As the final chapter in Kamala’s first go-round, this is about as perfect of an ending as you can get. It might not have a lot of action, but it hits all the right emotional notes that this story has been building to. With Ms. Marvel joining the lineup of All-New, All-Different Avengers, it’ll be interesting to see what lasting impact this first character arc will have on her.
