Operation S.I.N. #1
Marvel; $3.99
Operation S.I.N. manages to blend action and intrigue in such a way that will have readers hooked from page one. Pairing perfectly with the new Agent Carter series, this book stars Peggy Carter as she and Howard Stark travel to Russia to meet a man interested in Stark’s technology. But of course, things are hardly ever so simple, as celebratory fireworks quickly turn into an attack on Stark himself.
It comes as no surprise that this comic should come around now, with the Agent Carter series premiering a day before its release, but it manages to feel like a companion book that’s more than an obligatory tie-in. The story sets up for something big, and the art conveys the action without getting messy. We look forward to seeing where this one goes.
