
Pedigree High Grade Silver, Bronze Auction Ends March 17
Pedigree’s March Madness CGC Modern Marvel Auction is closing soon on Monday, March 17, 2025, per Pedigree CEO and President Doug Schmell. It contains just under 600 CGC-certified Marvel comics from the Bronze and Copper Ages, plus a group of high grade Silver and Bronze Age DC issues. The auction began on Friday, March 7, and lasts for ten days until Tuesday, March 18 as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website.
The first half ends on Monday, March 17 beginning at 9:30 PM ET, and the second half ends on March 18 at 9:30. There is no buyer’s premium on any of the lots in the auction and every book is listed with no reserve. Every book is CGC-certified and the minimum bid is only $30 for this auction. Over 580 books are now open for bidding on the Pedigree Comics website.
The auction features Modern runs of Amazing Spider-Man, Captain America, Conan the Barbarian, Defenders, Guardians of the Galaxy, Invaders, Iron Man, Ka-Zar, Marvel Premiere, Ms. Marvel, Nova, Power Man, Spider-Woman, and Web of Spider-Man (near-complete run with Annuals). Most of the books in the auction are graded 9.8.
There is a group of 60 Marvel and DC books from the mid-1960s to the mid-1970s that were just encapsulated by CGC. Half of the books are in 9.8 and most of the rest are in 9.6. Many of the books are the highest certified copy and a handful are single highest certified.
