Propstore Entertainment Memorabilia Auction Mar. 26-28
Propstore’s Entertainment Memorabilia Auction, their first major live auction of the year, will be held on March 26-28, 2025. The event contains over 1,300 lots of screen-used props, costumes, and other collectibles from film and TV series.
Two Star Wars pieces are likely to be the auction’s biggest sellers. One is Luke Skywalker’s (Mark Hamill) screen and photo matched Medal of Yavin from A New Hope, and the other is Chewbacca’s (Peter Mayhew) photo matched Bowcaster that he used in all three original trilogy films.
From Grease, Propstore has Danny Zuko’s (John Travolta) “Greased Lightning” T-Birds jacket and Sandy Olsson’s (Olivia Newton-John) screen-matched Frosty Palace jukebox dress. Superhero memorabilia is led by the evil Superman costume that Christopher Reeve wore as the villainous version of the hero in Superman III.
Propstore is offering Charlie Chaplin’s screen and photo matched Little Tramp boots from The Great Dictator. From Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II, they have a screen matched light-up radio controlled hero ghost trap and pedal. There’s a selection of over 100 lots from the Planet Hollywood Collection, including Ben Braddock’s (Dustin Hoffman) screen matched jacket from The Graduate.
Sci-fi items include Captain James T. Kirk’s (William Shatner) EVA suit costume, with helmet, glove, and boot replicas from Star Trek: The Original Series, and Kevin Flynn’s (Jeff Bridges) program costume components with neutral program bracer from Tron and “The Secrets of Tron” Rolling Stone magazine.
Lots from family films include a screen matched “A” hero DeLorean Mr. Fusion reactor from Back to the Future II, a light-up lightning struck Gonzo (Dave Goelz) puppet from Muppets from Space, and Dumbledore’s (Michael Gambon) hero robe from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Pieces from comic-based movies are Catwoman’s (Michelle Pfeiffer) costume from Batman Returns and Wolverine’s (Hugh Jackman) claws from X-Men: The Last Stand. Conan’s (Arnold Schwarzenegger) Atlantean sword and four behind the scenes photos from Conan the Barbarian and Lara Croft’s (Angelina Jolie) tiger jacket from Lara Croft: Tomb Raider are among the action movie lots.
The auction also has Pete “Maverick” Mitchell’s (Tom Cruise) photo matched bomber jacket from Top Gun, Walter Sobchak’s (John Goodman) costume from The Big Lebowski, and Kim’s (Winona Ryder) dress from Edward Scissorhands.
There are also 20 lots from Rebel Moon – Part One and Part Two from the collection of Zack Snyder with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
