
Propstore to Auction Horror Props, Masks
Propstore’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction is coming up soon on March 26-28, 2025. The auction features over 1,350 rare and screen-used props, costumes, and other collectibles from film and TV. The horror genre is well represented with items from classic and modern horror, including The Evil Dead, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Scream, and beyond.
Among the top lots is the screen-matched Necronomicon Ex-Mortis from The Evil Dead, featuring hand-illustrated pages by special effects artist Tom Sullivan. Additionally, the auction features over 30 lots of material from Sullivan’s career.
Key pieces from the Planet Hollywood Collection are also offered. This includes a screen-matched, cable-controlled animatronic Freddy Krueger TV puppet from A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors and a Gremlin puppet from Gremlins.
The Halloween franchise is represented by a production-made Michael Myers mask worn by Don Shanks in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers and Laurie Strode’s (Jamie Lee Curtis) stunt kitchen knife from Halloween H20: 20 Years Later.
Some of the more recent offerings are a screen-used Ghostface mask from Scream (2022), Bughuul’s (Nicholas King) mask from Sinister 2, Keith’s (Bill Skarsgård) photo-matched bloodied smashed head from Barbarian, and a promotional Negan #MeetLucille campaign Lucille bat from The Walking Dead.
The three-day auction opens each day at 10:30 AM PT/1:30 PM ET. In-person bidding will be at The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Online, absentee, and telephone bidding will be accepted throughout the event.
