The return of Christopher Priest and MD Bright to the world of Quantum and Woody is off to an interesting start. This book, which takes place many years after the original series (and seemingly has nothing to do with the 2013 James Asmus and Tom Fowler run), is a great reintroduction to these characters and their powers.

The first few pages of this book are a flashback, which help to establish the lives of Eric Henderson and Woodrow Van Chelton before their super-powered make-over takes place. Once it jumps to present day, the audience sees Quantum and Woody – but it’s not the same people behind the mask. With just enough mystery to hook old and new fans alike, Q2: The Return of Quantum and Woody looks to be a series worth paying attention to.
