R.A. Jones, Rob Davis Team on Vampire Comic

Longtime collaborators writer R.A. Jones and artist Rob Davis (Scimidar, Merlin) are working together on a new horror adventure miniseries. Vampires meet class segregation in Twilight Grimm which is published by Silverline Comics and will be on sale in October 2024.

Twilight Grimm is set in Hallowed Heights, a city divided by a giant wall. The middle and upper classes are protected on one side while the poor are forced to live on the other side – which is also populated by vampires. The only thing protecting the poor from the predators is the violent, broody man named Twilight Grimm.

“Twilight Grimm is a dream project for me,” Jones said. “It has given me the chance to once again collaborate with artist Rob Davis, with whom I have enjoyed both a personal and professional relationship for more than 35 years – working together on such comics series as Merlin, Straw Men, and the long-running Scimidar for Malibu Comics.”

“When I relaunched Silverline I was thinking of what other writers I’d like to have involved, someone whose work I’ve enjoyed and someone I’d worked with in the past. R.A. came immediately to mind – and so I reached out to him,” Silverline Publisher & Editor Roland Mann said.

“Roland reached out to me out of the blue, asking if I’d be interested in doing some storytelling with Silverline,” Davis said. “Before I could answer, he said he wanted to team me up with R.A. again and I jumped at the opportunity.”

Twilight Grimm #1 is advertised in the August 2024 issue of Diamond Comic Distributors’ PREVIEWS catalog. It will arrive in comic shops on October 16.
