The assassination of President John F. Kennedy is fraught with conspiracy theories, among which is that the body buried in Lee Harvey Oswald’s grave is not his. Enter a mysterious (probably government) man named Frank who puts together an oddball team to cover up one of the biggest crimes of the century.

The first issue of Regarding the Matter of Oswald’s Body introduces us to a wannabe cowboy, a struggling musician, a man desperate to join the CIA, and a woman fighting racism in the south. Writer Christopher Cantwell took what could’ve been clichéd introductions and made each character interesting and even sympathetic. They each have useful skillsets for the task ahead, but given their lack of training (and penchant for illegal actions) things could get messy really fast.
