The robot revolution has begun in Renegade Game Studios’ newest game, Sentient. The game sets up a time when sentient robots are used for information, transportation, industry, and more.

“Building them is the easy part now. Programming them has proven to be more complicated. There’s a handful of companies claiming success, but only one of these tech titans will emerge as the frontrunner in this exciting new frontier,” the description reads.

“Calibrate your neural network to program these bots correctly before rollout to the public. You’ll have to do this better than the competition if you want to attract the right investors and lead the sentient revolution!” the synopsis continues.

The revised edition features a new solo mode and a new game board where players take the position of designing sentient robots. Players will program their robots to run correctly before sending them out to the public, outsmart the competition, gain new investors, and lead the sentient revolution.

The game includes one board, 60 bot cards, six AI action cards, 20 network dice, 16 agent pawns, 20 assistant pawns, eight turn order markers, nine corporation panels, 15 investor tokens, four score markers, four plus-50 tokens, and one rule book. The strategy game for one to four players is appropriate for ages 14 and up.

Sentient is now open for preorders and will be released in July 2025.
