Both sides of the fight for the future have been pulled into the Faraway. Now, the villainous Dr. Silk’s forces will face off against the heroes led by Ivar the Timewalker over the fate of the world. As that is happening, Shadowman goes on a mission to save Punk Mambo from Master Darque, Ivar meets Dr. Silk face to face for a very tense meeting, and Chris finally makes a lasting choice between his family and following Silk.

Writer Fred Van Lente, and the art team of Diego Giribaldi, Tomas Aira, Julio Azamor, Lautaro Ftuli, and Ludwig Olimba did a great job on the finale to the Resurgence of the Valiant Universe. There are fights between some of Valiant’s biggest names, twists and turns, a major revelation, and setup for the next big storyline. With so much going on, it would have been easy to lose track of a story thread or character, but this finale had key confrontations and tied up situations nicely.

The Resurgence of the Valiant Universe is a really good read for Valiant fans and what follows is marketed as a jumping on point for new readers and something that will appeal to long-time fans.
