MeTV’s over-the-top horror host Svengoolie is featured in his first comic book specials. If you have even a passing knowledge of the TV horror hosts of yesteryear, the comic is a fun read. If you’re familiar with Svengoolie, it’s even better, and if you’re a true fan, the issue is a real treat.
Congratulations to writers Rich Koz, Jim Roche, and Chris Faulkner (with Franco), and artists Chris Jones, Jill Thompson, and Art Baltazar for crafting what could have been an eye-rolling experience into a thoroughly enjoyable romp.
