If you read it with a stack of your other weekly purchases from the comic shop, this series has been merely really good. However, if you allow yourself the pleasure of sitting quietly, soaking in artist Georges Jeanty’s panels, and listening to Zack Whedon’s dialogue, you can hear it. You can hear the actors saying the lines. You can hear them letting the silence hang there for a moment. You can hear the hum of the ship, and the clank and grunts and tumbles of the lives.

Yeah, it’s good alright.
