Witchcraft and Moloch’s influence are at play in the first of four issues of Sleepy Hollow. Based on the FOX series, the comic written by Marguerite Bennett reads like pages of dialogue on the show from Ichabod’s alternating skepticism and excitement for modern society to the spooky events connected to centuries old stories. The illustrations by Jorge Coelho and cover by Phil Noto mirror the eerie world seen on TV with its rays of light shining through. The Sleepy Hollow comic is a nice companion piece for fans of the TV show.
