The first appearance of Spider-Man, Jim Lee and Scott Williams’ Justice League art, and the only Ultraverse Prime video game are offered in Heritage’s weekly auctions. The Comic Books Select Auction closes on Sunday through Tuesday, September 22-24, 2024, the Video Games Mini-Boss Auction ends on Tuesday, September 24, and the Comic Art & Animation Auction wraps up on Wednesday, September 25.
The comic auction is anchored by Peter Parker/Spider-Man’s debut in Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 4.0. Venom: Lethal Protector #1 CGC 9.8 gold edition features the iconic cover of the Spider-Man nemesis rendered by Mark Bagley and Sam de la Rosa.
Original art is highlighted by Scott Koblish’s X-Men ’92 #1 chapter 2 art showcasing every member of the X-Men: The Animated Series lineup. Jim Lee and Scott Williams’ Justice League #3 story page 20 features Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Green Lantern, Flash, and Cyborg.
The video game auction includes Gremlins CGC 9.6 glue seal for the Atari 5200, an adaptation of the movie that follows Billy as he tries to find Mogwai before they turn into gremlins. The Ultraverse Prime/Microcosm Double Deal CGC 9.8 A+ sealed for Sega CD was the only time Ultraverse Prime, based on the Malibu Comic, was released.
