Star Trek: Section 31 Gets Physical Release Date
Sometime villain, sometime hero Philippa Georgiou joins a secret Starfleet division while also facing the choices of her past in Star Trek: Section 31. The film, which was originally released on Paramount+ on January 24, 2025, will soon receive a physical release from Paramount Home Entertainment. The 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray combo, a collectible 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray SteelBook, Blu-ray, and DVD will arrive on April 29, 2025.
In Star Trek: Section 31 Michelle Yeoh reprising the role of Philippa Georgiou as she joins a secret division of Starfleet whose mission is to protect the United Federation of Planets. Directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi, the movie also stars Omari Hardwick, Sam Richardson, Robert Kazinsky, Kacey Rohl, Sven Ruygrok, Jamse Hiroyuki, Humberly Gonzalez, Joe Pingue, and Miku Martineau.
The home release has hours of bonus content, including behind the scenes featurettes and a gag reel. In the “Art Squad,” production designer Paul Kirby and set decorator Summer Gaal take viewers through the sets. “Alpha Squad” delves into all six members of Section 31 Squad and “Stunt Squad” follows stunt coordinator Christopher McGuire and his team through the process of preparing and executing the movie’s stunts. In “Georgiou” Yeoh, the producers, and screenwriter Craig Sweeny will discuss the complex character and her development in the movie.
