The Galactic Empire’s Commander Zahra cracked the Rebels’ security code, launching the rebellion into a communications blackout. The Rebels found a solution by stealing an old protocol droid to disseminate a new code using a very old language. Now, they must convince the droid to provide the translations and take the code to the rest of the Rebel fleet.

This was a dialogue heavy issue that put the Rebels in several tough spots that didn’t involve a direct attack from the Empire. The old droid is not as willing to help as Threepio or Artoo and we learn more about Lando’s quiet companion, Lobot. It’s the kind of story that fits between larger arcs, but writer Charles Soule is keeping things entertaining and thoughtful.
