Stray Bullets: Killers #3
Image Comics; $3.50
When David Lapham first launched the original Stay Bullets series, there was nothing like it. It offered readers a fresh voice, a new art style, and a thought-provoking look into the world of crime on a personal level. It was awesome.
And then, of course, he went on to other projects. Some were great, some were just okay, but none of them were Stray Bullets.
And then almost a decade later he returned to Stray Bullets.
Plenty of people were skeptical. Three issues in on this new series we can say this: They shouldn’t have worried. Lapham didn’t skip a beat. Reading Stray Bullets is once again an immersive experience.
