Summer time is here, the weather is hot, school’s out, and the beaches are full. Studios have also been busy, releasing plenty of trailers to keep audiences indoors at the theater and in front of streaming services. The number of new trailers will grow even more next week during San Diego Comic-Con. So, before the latest batch of trailers and teasers head our way, we’re taking a look back at the ones that have been released in the last few weeks.

Good Omens season two

Aziraphale and Crowley are back together on a new adventure of biblical proportions in the first trailer for Good Omens season two. The trailer begins with the angel and demon reuniting, then the news drops: the archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) is missing and believed to be on Earth. That’s when Aziraphale reveals to Crowley that Gabriel is at his book shop and the two decide to hide him from Heaven, Hell, or anyone else that is looking for him. It will start streaming on Amazon Prime on July 28, 2023.

Babylon 5: The Road Home

John Sheridan has become unstuck in time in the first trailer for Babylon 5: The Road Home. The animated film from series creator J. Michael Straczynski continues the story that began in the ‘90s. Many Babylon 5 cast members have returned to voice their characters in Babylon 5: The Road Home, including Bruce Boxleitner as John Sheridan, Claudia Christian as Susan Ivanova, Peter Jurasik as Londo Mollari, Bill Mumy as Lennier, Tracy Scoggins as Elizabeth Lochley, and Patricia Tallman as Lyta Alexander. It is expected to be released in the summer of 2023.

Kraven the Hunter

The three-minute trailer for Kraven the Hunter shows a young Sergei/Kraven and his brother Dmitri learning lessons of brutality from their father (Russel Crowe). When Kraven (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) is attacked by a lion, their blood mixes and he becomes imbued with animal-like senses and abilities. With the new powers, Kraven starts hunting men, particularly evil ones like his father. The bloody trailer ends by teasing the appearance of the Rhino. The Kraven the Hunter red band trailer can be viewed on YouTube. It arrives in theaters on October 6, 2023.

Five Nights at Freddy’s

The Fight Nights at Freddy’s trailer introduces Mike Schmidt (Josh Hutcherson) a down on his luck man in need of a job who becomes the night shift security guard at the closed, dilapidated Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. The problem is that the Chuck E. Cheese-style restaurant is filled with sentient animatronics possessed by children who went missing in the 1980s, and they want Mike’s little sister Abby (Piper Rubio) to become one of them. Also starring Elizabeth Lail, Matthew Lillard, Kat Conner Sterling, and Mary Stuart Masterson, it arrives in theaters and on Peacock on October 27.

The Archies

The Archies is a live-action musical set in 1964 in India. The trailer doesn’t reveal story details, but it does promise rock ‘n’ roll, friends, freedom, love, heartbreak, parties, and protests, as well as bicycles, skates, cakes, and shakes. Throughout the trailer, the cast can be seen sharing those experiences around town, in classrooms, and everywhere else teenagers gather. It will start streaming on Netflix in November 2023.
