Writer-artist Jay Gunn delivers a mysterious, compelling look at humanity through the prism of the tiny remnant of humanity on a small British island following a nearly extinction level event on earth. The citizenry on the island are those that survived the same unknown affliction that caused 99% of the world’s population to walk into the sea, never to return. What caused it? What happened to those who disappeared? How can the survivors continue to survive? That’s what this series will explore.

If you’re looking for a way to describe this five-issue series, right now it would seem to suggest “The Walking Dead meets Invasion of the Body Snatchers in the sea.”

And with that said, we’ll begin patiently waiting for the next issue. This one’s due out May 27, 2015, but even with that we’re confident that the second one will be worth the wait.
