Terminator #5
Dynamite; $4.99
The last issue of Terminator put one of the unstoppable killing machines in a submarine. This issue takes things even further by putting one in space. It’s 1965 at Cape Canaveral when the Apollo program is launching. Unfortunately, one of the men going up in the rocket is a killer cyborg with a mission that could spell disaster for the whole world.
Writer Declan Shalvey maintains the isolationism he created in the last issue, but trades the claustrophobia of a submarine for the agoraphobia of wide open space. This series take the Terminator, a very scary killer, and keeps putting it in more and more unnerving situations. This issue was a quicker read than previous ones, but it doesn’t skimp on the tension.
