The Fantastic Four are everyone’s favorite heroes in the latest trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps. But is Marvel’s first family powerful enough to stop the coming threat?

The trailer opens with an introduction from a TV show host who praises the team, before they appear on stage in front of a very excited crowd. The scene turns domestic as the team sits down for dinner and Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) reveals that she is pregnant. Following this touching moment, the team comes face to face with the Silver Surfer (Julia Garner) who announces that the planet has been marked for death.

Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn) chases her into space, but is easily sent back to Earth. Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) starts working on a solution to the problem and the team tries to comfort the frightened public. Then we see the Fantastic Four displaying their powers, including the Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) running through pillars outside of a building. The trailer ends with an ominous teaser shot of Galactus with a very large foot walking through the city.

The movie is directed by Matt Shakman, and also stars Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, John Malkovich, Ralph Ineson, and Sarah Niles.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps arrive into theaters this summer on July 25, 2025.
