With CW’s The Flash making its debut on October 7, 2014 it’s never been a better time to get into the comic series that started it all. Coming in at just a buck, this is a great introduction to The Flash’s role in the current New 52 universe.

The story follows Barry Allen as he attempts to foil a break-in during a scientific exhibition. It gives new readers (and perhaps some returning fans) just enough to establish Barry’s role in Central City and a small taste of his powers as The Flash. This special edition makes for a great set-up to the television show and is definitely worth a pickup.
