The Nightmare Before Christmas Gets 4K Blu-ray

The Nightmare Before Christmas, Tim Burton’s beloved animated film that blends Halloween and Christmas themes, is turning 30 years old in 2023. As the unique movie approaches that milestone, Disney is releasing a 4K Blu-ray edition on August 22.
Described as the ultimate collector’s edition, it contains deleted scenes, “The Making of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas,” commentary by Burton, director Henry Selick, and music designer Danny Elfman, song selection (which goes directly to each musical number), “Tim Burton’s Early Film” (Frankenweenie uncut version with an intro by Burton), “Tim Burton’s Original Poem” (narrated by Christopher Lee), and “‘What’s This?’ Jack’s Haunted Mansion Holiday Tour.”
The Nightmare Before Christmas 4K Blu-ray is now open for preorder via online and box store retailers.
