Cassian Andor and the Rebellion are ready for another round of fighting the Empire in the first teaser trailer for Andor season two.

The teaser for the Star Wars series shows the beginning of the Rebel Alliance and gives the first look at season one characters like Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), Senator Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly), Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård), Bix Caleen (Adria Arjona), and Syril Karn (Kyle Soller). The trailer also previews the returns of Rogue One characters, including K-2SO (Alan Tudyk), Director Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn), and Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker).

According to show creator and executive producer Tony Gilroy, this season will follow Cassian through the four years that led up to Rogue One.

“While season one followed Cassian’s reluctant journey from cynical nobody to revolutionary volunteer, the long-awaited conclusion in Andor season two will see the characters and their relationships intensify as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound,” per Star Wars’ synopsis.

Andor season two also stars Denise Gough, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, and Elizabeth Dulau. Episodes were written by Tony Gilroy, Beau Willimon, Dan Gilroy, and Tom Bissell, and they were directed by Ariel Kleiman, Janus Metz, and Alonso Ruizpalacios.

The 12-episode season will premiere on Disney+ on April 22, 2025. Three new episodes will stream each week over the course of four weeks.
