The First is injured but he definitely isn’t out of the fight. Uncanny Valley is a surreal trip between the real world and a cartoon world built on the rules established in our favorite animated shows. For this issue, writer Tony Fleecs introduces yet another homage to a popular cartoon series, while also dealing with real life problems like Oliver’s desire to be safe, and Peggy’s unresolved issues with her dad. Artist Dave Wachter delivered a great issue by balancing between different animation styles and realistic renderings. His work continues to give the book a unique look.
