FX Networks debuted a new TV teaser for Alien: Earth during the NFL conference championship games on Sunday, January 26, 2025. While the teaser doesn’t provide context on the show’s premise, it does promise that an invasion is imminent in the upcoming TV series.

The 30-second teaser follows the point of view of a Xenomorph as it speedily climbs through the passageways on a ship. As this is happening, a siren blares and the ship’s computer system announces that there has been a containment breach. The teaser ends with the alien slamming into a window, and the view shifts to show that the ship is hurtling into Earth’s atmosphere.

The show follows a recovery crew who search for survivors when the space vessel crashes on Earth. Once they encounter aliens, the group must fight for their survival, and decide what to do about the discovery – the implications of which would have a significant impact on Earth.

Alien: Earth was created by Noah Hawley (the creator-writer of Legion and the Fargo TV show). The eight-episode show will star Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, David Rysdahl, Sandra Yi Sencindiver, Kit Young, Sameul Blenkin, Adarsh Gourav, and Moe Bar-El.

The show debuts on Hulu during the summer of 2025.
